1. Time - Most photographers would also agree that first looks allow for much more time with the couple, rather than trying to squeeze a bunch of photos in a small window of time during cocktail hour.
2. The Moment - We have never met a bride who regretted having a first look with her hubs. It is a moment of pure anticipation and overcoming joy when you see one another for the first time. It also make for some super sweet photos.
3. Nerves- Seeing one another for the first time allows for some of the nerves and anxiousness of the big day to pass. There is no doubt that the man you are marrying is one of the most comforting human beings, are we right? Having him wrap you up in a great big hug before one of the biggest days of your lives together is so calming.
4. Reception Reveal - (our personal favorite) I think every planner's favorite moment of any wedding is the moment the bride and groom see all of their hopes and dreams come to life right before their eyes. All of the handwork and strategic planning is behind you, and you are hand in hand with the person of your dreams, and the setting is perfect, and it's YOUR WEDDING DAY
5. Family - First looks are becoming much more popular with the ones who loved you first. Parents, grandparents, friends, etc. Some of our favorite moments are the bride's first look with these people. After all, they played a huge part in getting you here today!
What are your thoughts? Do you prefer more tradition, first see her walking down the isle, or a more spontaneous first look?
